Contact Lens Safety & Care Guide

Your eye health is important to us. Please read and follow these instructions before wearing your cosmetic contact lenses.

Before Using Your Lenses

  • Always wash and thoroughly dry your hands before handling contact lenses.
  • Inspect each lens before use. Do not wear lenses that are damaged, torn, or have visible defects.
  • Use only fresh contact lens solution for cleaning, rinsing, and storing your lenses.
  • Never use tap water, bottled water, saliva, or homemade solutions.
  • We recommend having an eye examination and contact lens fitting by an eye care professional before wearing contact lenses for the first time.

Inserting Your Lenses

  1. Wash and dry your hands.
  2. Place the lens on the tip of your finger.
  3. Ensure the lens forms a smooth bowl shape with the edges pointing upward. If the edges flare outward, the lens is inside out.
  4. Hold your upper eyelid open and gently pull down your lower eyelid.
  5. Carefully place the lens on your eye.
  6. Blink several times until the lens feels comfortable and is correctly positioned.

Wearing Your Lenses

  • New users should gradually increase wearing time over several days.
  • Always follow the recommended replacement schedule for your lenses.
  • Do not wear your lenses for longer than recommended by your eye care professional or the product instructions.
  • Never sleep while wearing cosmetic contact lenses unless specifically approved for overnight wear.
  • Do not wear lenses if your eyes are irritated, infected, or if you are feeling unwell.

Lens Replacement Schedule

Always replace your lenses according to the replacement schedule specified for your product:

  • Daily lenses: Dispose of after a single use.
  • Monthly lenses: Replace 30 days after opening, even if they have not been worn every day.
  • Yearly lenses: Replace 12 months after opening, provided they have been cleaned, disinfected, and stored correctly after each use.

Never continue using contact lenses beyond their recommended replacement period.

Cleaning & Storage

  • Clean your lenses immediately after each use with fresh multipurpose contact lens solution.
  • Gently rub and rinse the lenses as directed by your solution manufacturer.
  • Store lenses in a clean lens case filled with fresh solution.
  • Never top up or reuse old solution.
  • Replace your lens case every 1โ€“3 months or sooner if it becomes damaged.

Important Safety Information

  • Never share your contact lenses with another person.
  • Remove your lenses before swimming, showering, or using a hot tub.
  • Avoid exposing lenses to makeup, creams, hairspray, or oils.
  • Insert your lenses before applying makeup and remove them before removing your makeup.
  • Carry your lens case and solution whenever possible.
  • If a lens becomes uncomfortable, remove it immediately.

Stop Wearing Your Lenses Immediately If You Experience

  • Redness
  • Eye pain
  • Blurred or reduced vision
  • Excessive tearing
  • Light sensitivity
  • Persistent discomfort
  • Unusual discharge

If symptoms continue after removing your lenses, seek advice from an optician or other qualified eye care professional immediately.
